Continuous monitoring and control of obstructed cuffs is a key measure to reduce the risk of ventilated acute respiratory distress syndrome (VAD) in ventilated patients in the intensive care unit. Intermittent cuff monitoring, often performed with a manometer, is not sufficiently effective in mitigating this risk. That's why we've equipped our flagship products with the new "Cuffscout" function. This allows the user to maintain and monitor the prescribed cuff pressure.

In addition, our devices immediately detect faulty cuffs and leaks, and feature a cough detection algorithm. This further simplifies individual cuff adjustment.
