Description
The advantages of Leoni plus.
VT trigger adaptation
The precise hot-wire flow sensor, designed to be placed close to the patient, automatically tracks the trigger sensitivity relative to the patient's tidal volume.
The HFO uses membrane oscillation.
The powerful, optionally integrated Leoni high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFO) module utilizes membrane oscillation. Bidirectional flow, adjustable frequencies from 5 to 20 Hz, and amplitudes up to 100 mbar ensure lung-protective alveolar oxygenation and highly efficient CO₂ removal. The HFO is available for both invasive and non-invasive ventilation. Spontaneous breathing is possible at any time and is supported by adjustable recruitment maneuvers and a volume guarantee. Amplitude control is regulated and compensates for leaks and compliance variations.
CLAC - optimized control algorithm for expected reliability.
The ventilation device is fully controlled via the user interface, which displays measurements and alarm settings. Users can see the patient's current status at a glance. The CLAC adapts the inspiratory oxygen to the respiratory gas (FiO2) by continuously monitoring the patient's needs and condition and adjusting the device parameters accordingly. This allows clinicians to focus on other tasks. Of course, manual intervention is possible at any time.
