The thyroid is a radiation-sensitive organ and therefore requires special protection. Wearing appropriate protection during high-dose examinations is therefore essential.
Our thyroid and sternum protector features a superior cut and fit, taking into account all aspects of radiation protection.
Featuring a permanently sewn-in hook-and-loop closure at the neck as standard, the thyroid and sternum protector is also available with an optional interchangeable hook-and-loop closure or a convenient magnetic closure*.
