Complete solution for non-invasive ventilation

The medinCNO is a versatile nCPAP device used for the ventilation of premature infants and newborns. Combined with the Medijet, this compact device forms a self-contained system that meets all the requirements of non-invasive nCPAP therapy.
With five modes, the medinCNO supports numerous non-invasive ventilation methods in neonatology. It is also the only nCPAP system with nHFV.

nCPAP modes. For toddlers.

nCPAP modes are designed so that only the desired CPAP pressure is set. The flow rate is then adjusted according to the patient's condition and any leaks. This prevents unintentional peak pressures, ensures highly effective leak compensation, and reduces oxygen consumption. Flow rate adjustment is very rapid thanks to the high sensitivity of the pressure measurement.

CPAP Apnea Mode

Apnea is detected by the MediTRIG. Cycles are then automatically triggered to stimulate breathing. The frequency, pressure level, and duration of a cycle can be individually adjusted.

NIPPV/BiLevel

Respiratory cycles with fixed settings (pressure level, duration, rate) are administered in addition to PEEP. These respiratory cycles have a higher pressure level and are not delivered synchronously.

SNIPPV

A mode synchronized with the patient's spontaneous breathing with the help of MediTRIG. With their inhalation, the patient can trigger an assisted breathing cycle that provides flow and pressure to the inhaled airflow.

nHFV (Nasal High Frequency Ventilation)

nHFV combines the benefits of high-frequency ventilation and non-invasive CPAP support. The patient breathes spontaneously with CPAP assistance. A special valve shifts airflow throughout all phases of spontaneous breathing using high-frequency oscillations (300 to 1200/minute).

MediTRIG

The MediTRIG respiratory trigger was specially developed by medin for premature infants and newborns. By combining pressure measurement in the Medijet® generator and signal processing in medin's nCPAP devices, the MediTRIG operates without additional sensors.The MediTRIG detects both central and obstructive apnea.
