Description
TFT color touchscreen
The Tende VAV intensive care incubator is equipped with a 7-inch color TFT touchscreen, offering an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
This feature allows for easy monitoring of parameters and precise input of operating commands.
Guided on-screen explanations and interactive animations guide the user through each step, facilitating quick and efficient operation of the device, even for new users.
Temperature mode:
Clinicians can easily set the desired temperature by selecting either air or skin mode on the Tende VAV touchscreen. If the set values are outside the range, the system generates an audible and visual warning. Furthermore, if the air temperature rises too high, the system alerts clinicians with an audible and visual alarm and automatically shuts off the heating.
Patented servo humidifier system:
The humidity conditions that are vital for newborns can be maintained quickly, efficiently, and reliably thanks to Tende VAV's patented humidity system. The use of hot steam technology and a fully removable, autoclavable humidity system enhances hygiene and overall incubator safety. Tende VAV boasts one of the fastest humidity systems among its competitors and can maintain a humidity range of over 95% using its 2000 ml water reservoir.
Mattress and electronic mattress incline (Trendelenburg):
The soft, biocompatible, waterproof, washable, and fire-retardant mattress is positioned on the mattress tray with the X-ray cassette tray underneath. The bed can be easily removed when the baby requires intervention. A safety device prevents the baby from falling when the mattress is removed.
The incline training can be performed electronically from the screen easily and without manual intervention. It is vibration-free and operates safely. This system features an "Emergency Down" button that automatically returns the baby's bed to a horizontal position within seconds. During the automatic descent, clinicians can begin the necessary procedures by pulling the bed out or opening the covers. This is one of Tende VAV's unique applications.
Trend observation:
Clinicians can monitor all air and skin temperatures, humidity and oxygen levels, the baby's weight, and the incubator's heating power on both screens for 2 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, and 7 days, displayed as graphs and numerical values. Trends over 1 day and 7 days can be viewed with a 1-minute resolution on the screen.
Mammary breast mode and air curtain:
When the baby needs to be removed for breastfeeding, their skin temperature can be measured by selecting "Mom's Bosom Mode". The system activates the "Air Curtain" function when the front or rear doors are opened, minimizing heat loss inside the incubator. If the doors remain open, the system alerts users with an audible and visual alarm.
Specific temperature and humidity algorithm (guiding):
With the intelligent algorithm, the device recommends the percentage of ambient temperature and humidity that should be present based on the gestational age (number of days) and the weight of the baby, and if it is approved, the temperature and humidity values are automatically set according to these parameters.
360-degree rotating drawers:
The Tende VAV features one large and two small 360° rotating drawers accessible from the front and either the right or left side of the incubator. This feature makes the drawers quiet and easily accessible from the sides of the incubator, even when the front and rear doors are open.
Optional equipment:
Servo-oxygen:
In the Tende VAV servo oxygen system, safety and precision are paramount. One of the system's most important features is its very quiet operation, increasing the noise level by only a few dB during use.
Digital bathroom scale:
The Tende VAV features a sensitive digital weighing system with microprocessor control and an automatic self-test function, designed with the baby's safety and comfort in mind. Before the baby is removed from the crib, they are only lifted for a few seconds, and the system performs the weighing process once the baby is released. If the crib is tilted before weighing, for more accurate results, the system automatically returns the crib to its flat position before weighing and then back to its original tilt. The weighing process is shown in the animation on the Tende VAV control screen, and its steps are guided by visual and audible alerts on the screen.
Height adjustment:
Clinicians can adjust the incubator's height using "raise" and "lower" pedals to achieve the appropriate working height. Thanks to the specially designed Tende VAV motor, raising and lowering the incubator is silent, vibration-free, and won't disturb the baby. This operation is controlled by the incubator's pedals.
TFT color touchscreen:
Tende VAV can also be controlled and monitored on a 10.1-inch side screen. The large side screen makes it easier for the user to view critical data such as Masimo Rainbow SET pulse oximetry (SpO2) and non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) measurements. Users will also have access to Tende VAV's Easy Mute function via the side screen. Easy Mute allows clinicians to pause alarm sounds simply by raising their hand in front of the screen.
Pulse oximeter (masimo rainbow set):
Tende VAV utilizes the most advanced Masimo Rainbow SET SpO2 technology. The advantage of this system is that it also allows for the measurement of the perfusion index (PI), pleth variability index (PVI), total hemoglobin (SpHb), methemoglobin (SpMet), and carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO) values without requiring blood samples from the newborn (non-invasive). In this way, clinicians can obtain precise data with the assistance of Tende VAV, the world's first incubator to implement Masimo Rainbow SET technology.
NIBP (non-invasive blood pressure measurement):
With the NIBP function integrated into the side display, the baby's blood pressure can be measured non-invasively at predetermined intervals. Clinicians can activate audible and visual alarms by setting specific values. The data obtained can be viewed on the trend display.
