Description
Main features
Smart/flexible electrical use
The Tende VAV-TR can operate on AC mains power, external DC power sources (such as an ambulance adapter), or its internal battery. The control panel displays the current power source. The system is primarily powered by AC mains power. If AC mains power is unavailable, it can be powered from an external DC source. If no external DC source is available, it is powered by its internal battery. When an AC source is connected, the battery begins charging immediately. The Tende VAV-TR can operate for at least 4 hours with a single battery and for at least 8 hours with two batteries when used at full capacity.
The mattress
"Biocompatible, non-cytotoxic and non-irritating to the skin, flame-retardant, waterproof and washable.
The mattress and its tray can be easily removed from the left side cover when the baby needs assistance. There is a safety device to prevent the baby from falling when the bed is pulled out."
Humidification system
A passive humidification system is preferred in the Tende VAV-TR transport incubator. Tende recommends disposable sponges due to the risk of contamination. A humidity level of 50–60% can be maintained for approximately 8 hours in a system using only 250 ml of water.
Temperature mode
It is possible to monitor air and skin temperature readings on the control panel. Clinicians can easily set the temperature value for either air or skin mode and simultaneously monitor the set and measured data from the control panel.
Control Panel
The ergonomic Tende VAV-TR microprocessor-controlled control panel allows users to control the incubator via membrane keys. A large digital LED display, easily visible from all angles, shows data such as air and skin temperature, oxygen percentage, SpO2 (oxygen saturation), BPM (pulse value), power indicator, battery status, and other data simultaneously and individually.
Oxygen system
Safety and security are paramount in the Tende VAV-TR oxygen system, allowing oxygen levels to be monitored with a 1% resolution. Oxygen values are continuously displayed on the control panel.
Examination lamp
There is an LED examination light on the incubator that can illuminate the entire area above the cabinet to facilitate procedures performed on the baby inside. Clinicians can easily adjust the examination light on the canopy to illuminate the entire area above the mattress.
Optional equipment
Pulse oximeter (masimo rainbow set)
Tende VAV-TR utilizes the most advanced Masimo Rainbow SET SpO2 technology. The advantage of this system is that it also allows for the measurement of perfusion (PI) and pleth variability index (PVI), total hemoglobin (SpHb), methemoglobin (SpMet), and carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO) values without requiring blood samples from the newborn (non-invasive). In this way, clinicians can obtain precise data using Tende VAV-TR, which is the first implement of Masimo Rainbow SET technology in an incubator and transport incubator worldwide.
Chariot
The compact and lightweight structure; the easy, quiet and continuous height adjustment makes the trolley unique.
