Description
Complete solution for non-invasive ventilation
The medinCNOmini offers the basic nCPAP and high-flow functions of a modern CPAP device.
It also features a special ApneaCPAP mode. Using the MediTRIG trigger, spontaneous breathing activity is recorded as close as possible to the patient and without the need for an additional sensor. The MediTRIG can be individually adapted to the patient’s spontaneous breathing pattern. In the event of apnea, the patient’s breathing is stimulated by the automatic triggering of mechanical breathing cycles.

For your patients
nCPAP modes. For toddlers.
nCPAP modes are designed so that only the desired CPAP pressure is set. The flow rate is then adjusted according to the patient's condition and any leaks. This prevents unintentional peak pressures, ensures highly effective leak compensation, and reduces oxygen consumption. Flow rate adjustment is very rapid thanks to the high sensitivity of the pressure measurement.
CPAP Apnea Mode
Apnea is detected by the MediTRIG. Cycles are then automatically triggered to stimulate breathing. The frequency, pressure level, and duration of a cycle can be individually adjusted.
NIPPV/BiLevel
Respiratory cycles with fixed settings (pressure level, duration, rate) are administered in addition to PEEP. These respiratory cycles have a higher pressure level and are not delivered synchronously.
High-flow nasal oxygen therapy
nHFT refers to the administration of heated and humidified respiratory gas via a nasal cannula. The gas flow rate delivered is therefore higher than the patient's inspiratory respiratory flow rate. In neonatology, a flow rate greater than 1 L/min is considered high-flow therapy, while for adults, correspondingly higher values should be used.
MediTRIG
The MediTRIG respiratory trigger was specially developed by medin for premature infants and newborns. By combining pressure measurement in the Medijet® generator and signal processing in medin's nCPAP devices, the MediTRIG operates without additional sensors. The MediTRIG detects both central and obstructive apnea.
